Grey Shingles Camps is a very special place! Read about the past, present, and future of this unique vacation property.
The Grey Shingles Camps property has been a vacation cottage colony since the 1940's. Our desire is to have our guests experience the vacations of old with a modern sensibility!
The property consists of five acres of open lawn, woodland, an orchard, and a private waterfront with beach on pristine Rust Pond. Magnificent old sugar maples, red maples, Norway spruce, and white pine will greet you as you enter the property through the fieldstone pillars. Massive stone walls line the property boundaries on both sides.
At the top of the drive is our pickleball and basketball courts. The Grey Shingles Camps Rec Hall will be in view, with it's original rustic 'Welcome to Grey Shingles' sign. Built in the 1920's for the girls' camp 'Ehawee', the Rec Hall provides a spacious gathering place for our guests as well as our Reception area.
The Grey Shingles Camps waterfront is just a short walk from the camps past the apple orchard and through the opening in the stone wall. The winding path through the cool woodland opens onto our waterfront on Rust Pond.
Hi! We are Rich and Robin Wyman. We purchased Grey Shingles in the summer of 2015 having fallen in love at first site with this beautiful property and Wolfeboro!
The Grey Shingles property, a cottage colony on Rust Pond, was operated from the 1940's to the 1990's. Recent owners used the cottages exclusively for family and friends until our purchase in 2015.
